Orange County Cricket Club (OCCC) formed and started playing Cricket in 2017 and have grown from strength to strength both on and off the Cricket field. Each season increasing membership, expanded to two teams and playing some great games of Cricket in the Florida Cricket Conference as well as Friendly competitive games.
March 2017 - Orange County Cricket Club established
April 2017 - Entered OCCC Cricket team to play in Florida Cricket Conference T20 season
May 2019 - Entered 2 teams, OCCC Blue and OCCC Orange team into FCC T20 season
July 2020 - Registered OCCC as Non-Pofit Orangsation
Janaury 2021 - OCCC reaches 100 members!
April 2, 2017, OCCC played its first competitive Cricket game after entering a team into the Floriday Cricket Conference (FCC), against Daytona Tigers CC in Daytona. The game ended in defeat but that was the start of the journey!
Seasons #1 and #2 for OCCC
OCCC entered its first ever team in the FCC T20 Summer Slam season which ran from April - August followed by the FCC Big Blast 30 from November - February 2018
Seasons #3 and #4 for OCCC
OCCC played in the FCC T20 Summer Slam running from April 2018- September 2018 then into a new FCC competion the Winter Challenge 35 (35 overs and Red Ball) from October 2018 - March 2019.
Seasons #5 and #6 for OCCC
Most succesful season yet for OOCC fielding 2 teams and making the playoffs in both T20 and 35 over competions in the FCC.
Seasons #7 and #8 for OCCC
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic the FCC T20 season was cancelled! OCCC participated in the Inaugrual Polk T20 Invitational Cup, Sept - Nov. FCC Winter Challenge 35 began in Dec 2020 - March 2021
